The Cost of Captivity tells the story of the world that two prisoners, Andy and Red, set behind bars. Andy Dufresne is a young and successful banker. He is tried for the murder of his wife and his wife and is sentenced to life imprisonment. Shawsank Prison has been beaten, tortured, raped and all sorts of situations, but Andy is still life-bound and optimistic. This attitude also affects those around him. From a hopeful perspective, Andy convinces all the prisoners around him that there can be a free life even behind bars. Andy will also have a friend in common with these efforts: Red. Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins star in the film, which is an adaptation of Stephen King. The film was nominated for an Oscar in 7 categories, including the best movie nomination in 1995.
